Can Brook Pull Off A Surprise On November 14 Or Will Crawford Continue His Winning Streak?
In a few hours from now, two of the best welterweights of recent times will meet inside the ring and do their thing. Terrence Crawford (36-0, 27 KO) will once again defend his WBO welterweight title against a quality opponent in Kell Brook (39-2, 27 KO). Although Brook hasn’t fought in the 147-pound division in more than three years now, some boxing analysts view him as someone who may be too dangerous for Crawford.
But Crawford is arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world today, so it’s going to be a really competitive fight that we can expect from both of them. Can Brook pull off a surprise or will Crawford continue his winning streak? It’s hard to say, although some of us may already have an idea of who will emerge victorious in this fight.
Brook’s advantages over Crawford include the following: He’s a good boxer and can hit powerfully in the 147 to 154 pound division range, not to mention the fact that he also has the size advantage over small-boned welterweight Crawford. He’s fought bigger, top-notch guys like GGG and Alvarez before, so it’ll give him an edge in experience. But style-wise, Crawford is just too good.
May the best man win on Saturday night. Good luck to both of them. But who are you rooting for? Is it Crawford or Brook?
