Will Terence Crawford Be the Next Manny Pacquiao Foe?

Reigning WBO Welterweight World Champion Terence “Bud” Crawford has expressed his desire to fight the Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao in his next fight.
“My next fight should be Pacquiao. We are in discussions with Team Pacquiao, and I really hope that fight can be accomplished,” Crawford said in an interview.
Undefeated Crawford, 27, is fighting under the tutelage of Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, and, as we all know, Arum used to be a longtime Pacquiao promoter, which can make it easier to negotiate the fight.
As for the venue of the fight, it has not yet been decided. But rumors are circulating that the Pacquiao-Crawford fight will take place in the Middle East.
But with the Covid-19 pandemic still underway, Arum has hinted that venues hesitate to accommodate major events.
If the Pacquiao-Crawford fight doesn’t go through, other names have been considered as an option, including Kell Brook, Errol Spence, Shawn Porter, Yurdenis Ugas, and others.
Crawford said he is ready to fight anyone who comes his way.
“The sky is the limit for me right now, I am looking for all the great opportunities and all the champions. I am shooting for all of them.”
